Who We Are
Fire & Ice is Carol
Anne Drastal and Jonathan Villegas. Carol Anne's versatile vocals and
Jonathan's guitar and bass prowess combine to make an entertaining mix of
heartfelt pop/rock/country/folk music. Fire & Ice
plays coffeehouses, weddings, and parties.

A Little Bit of History
Before Fire & Ice,
Carol Anne and Jonathan were '70s hippies in a band. In case you get
confused as to who's who, the above Blast From The Past pictures show
Jonathan (on electric bass) on the left and Carol Anne on the right. We
are now (yes, this very minute!) upstanding citizens, safe to coffeehouses
everywhere. (As the topmost picture on this page will attest.) For the
real scoop on who we are, click here:
"Fire & Ice" Pays
...the following musical artists whose
star streaked brightly in the heavens and then disappeared all too
quickly. These artists left behind a legacy that influenced our music
and/or helped define our musical persona.
Van Zandt, singer/songwriter
Townes was a musical poet who
knew how to do it For The Sake of the Song...
Joplin, blues/rock singer
"The scores of female rock
stars who have come after her -- from Patti Smith to Courtney Love --
would be inconceivable had Joplin not gotten there first."
Pastorius, jazz/rock electric bassist
The World's Greatest
Laura Nyro's songs, performed by
various artists, were a backdrop to the exciting times of the 60's and
70's. These were formative years for "Fire & Ice"!
